If you are coming from the north, get the Hwy. 56 going to Kapaa to the Wailua River. You will pass through Kuamoo road, and take the first right into the Wailua Marine State Park. If you come from the North (Hanalei, Princeville, Kapaa), have the Hwy 56 South through Kapaa to the Wailua River. You will pass through the Kuamoo road and take the first right into the Wailua Marina State Park.

If you will come from the South, take Hwy. 56 North from the Lihue airport. After the Wailua Golf Course, take notice for Marina signage and watch out for the beach on the right side. Turn left into the Wailua Marina State Park before crossing the Wailua River Bridge.
